In the interest of making the teachings of Jacque Fresco more easily accesible to the seekers of knowledge, we have decided to use OPEN access Economy (OAE) as the primary term to refer to a resource-based economy(RBE), from now on.

While the term “resource-based economy” is used by Jacque Fresco in all of his writings, the term is used outside of the RBE scene to describe economies that primarily exploit one resource, which generates confusion.

Open Access Economy has been used by other related movements, and we find it unique and open enough to become the new standard. It also has an open and dedicated wiki on which we can collaborate one.

We encourage the other movements that strive for this goal, to use this term from now on
